Next Thursday and Friday @ the Elbo Room Afrolicious proudly presents Chico Mann (www.myspace.com/chicomann) the bangin electro beats mixed with deep Afro-Beat based group out of Brooklyn, featuring some of the premier musicians from the Brooklyn scene. Featuring members of the esteemed Antibalas, Dap-Kings, and Amy Winehouse band, this quintet has been making serious noise in the live scene lately. Thursday will feature the Chico Mann crew as part of the Afrolicious party, Friday night we shall feature the full Pleasuremaker live band, complete with the horn section and original material, (the band many of you have seen @ Boom Boom Room.)
Pleasuremaker band will also be throwing down w- Raw Deluxe (http://www.myspace.com/rawdeluxe) @ Boom Boom Room that Saturday night @ Boom Boom Room with Señor Oz holding down the decks.
